Since May 1, 2023 The Central Finance and Contract Agency (CFCA), as the Latvian Development Cooperation Agency, has become the associate association of the European Union (EU) Development Cooperation Agency Network (Practicioners Network) U. A total of 25 development cooperation organisations from 18 European countries are represented in this network.
On May 11, Madrid holds an annual meeting of the network, presenting, inter alia, the CFLA as a new membership organisation, which will represent Latvia.
Participation in this network will promote Latvia's representation in EU-funded development cooperation projects in non-EU countries. . At the same time, participation in this network will help to develop cooperation with other EU countries' development cooperation agencies, which will allow future partnerships to implement financially large projects from the point of view of Latvia's foreign policy in key regions, for example by planning support measures for Ukraine's reconstruction and accession to the EU.
