CFCA confirms the largest project of the EU funds in this planning period – railway electrification

The Central Finance and Contracting Agency has confirmed the project of VAS Latvijas Dzelzceļš for development of electric train infrastructure granting over EUR 318 million from the European Union Cohesion Fund. The project design has been approved by the European Commission. read more »
The European Court of Auditors visits the glass processing company developed by support from the ERDF funds

On Monday, May 20, the delegation of the European Court of Auditors – Chairman Mr. Klaus-Heiner Lehne and Member Mr. Mihails Kozlovs arrived for a two day visit in Latvia. The delegation will meet with officials and visit the glass processing company “Glāzeri BT” that received funding for development from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). read more »
The CFCA terminates the agreement with Rīgas Satiksme on implementation of the Skanste tram project

Opening of the House of science of the University of Latvia

With the support of the European regional development Fund (ERDF), the House of Science of the University of Latvia was built in Tornjakalns by co-financing the construction of a new building and the creation of modern infrastructure. Within the framework of two projects of the ERDF, more than 34 million EUR were allocated to the University of Latvia from the European Union Fund. read more »
